Other hair in the market:
Many hair companies legally market their hair as 100% real human hair when really only 50%-70% of the hair is human hair and the rest is animal hair or synthetic. They might be collecting from brushes and salons where it has fallen onto the floor, also a high chance synthetic hair mixed inside. After the hair has been collected, extensions need to go through a process before they can be sold to clients. Since the collection process varies so cuticle directions become mixed, it requires a higher concentration of acid usage. This has the effect of removing the entire cuticle from the hair. Eventually resulting in hair with very low moisture, leading to dry straw-like hair. To tackle this, manufactories would use lots of silicone coating washes to keep it super smooth eventually wears off with the hair appearing shiny and healthy. But beware as soon as you wash it, the silicone comes off, and the hair mattes into a harsh and brittle huge mess. Due to it’s easier to collect and chemically process, the price of human hair extension is cheaper than Remy hair. You can purchase human hair almost anywhere and at an affordable price. But, the popular saying is always true; you get what you pay for.
